An incredible waterfront home at Point Frederick has been sold for $3.9 million – the second highest amount seen for the suburb.
The sprawling property at 14 Eulalia Ave was sold in just ten days, snapped up by a cash buyer from the Coast.
The 1561sqm home, listed by Stephen Gittoes and Ingrid Osborn from Gittoes East Gosford, included Michael Cooke designed gardens and a tiled pool overlooking a shared jetty.
“The buyers were looking to build on waterfront, but this one popped up at the right time for them, so they have decided to renovate instead,” Ms Osborn said.
“It ticked a lot of boxes for them – there are very few waterfront properties in the area at this size with level lawns front and back.”
Designed by noted architect Ian Esplin, the home included expansive paved verandas and balconies on each level, marble features, Cbus controlled lighting and blinds and a wine cellar.
According to Ms Osborn, there were three other interested parties but this buyer had cash and could go unconditional almost immediately.
The top selling property in Point Frederick was a waterfront at 28 Albany St, which sold in 2017 for $4.1 million.
